New Groundup hospitals included Hot Water Reheat VAV systems. Large , complex AHUs were chosen to be used on these hospitals. Pressurization gradients of areas of the hospital were critical and Elite TAB became a valuable member in ensuring these systems were performing as needed, and as designed. Over 80 terminal Units, Hot Water Boilers, Hot Water Pumps,
HEPA Filter Systems, Exhaust Systems, and Commercial Kitchens were included. These hospitals had ORs, Compound Mixing Pharmacies, Isolation Rooms, and Texas Department of Health requirements for ACH and Room pressures. Elite TABs expertise helped these projects close out on time and professionally.

When Clearsky began projects and planned to open 3 new Rehab hospitals in North and Central Texas, Elite TAB was selected by (3) Different hiring Mechanical Contractors as the TAB Firm of choice. While each project was similar, this fact indicates the preferred nature of Elite TAB and it’s expertise in the industry. Rarely will (3) projects be awarded
to (3) different mechanical contractors, and in turn all (3) choose to hire the same TAB Expert to complete the projects, even though Elite TAB pricing was not the lowest available for this work. Elite TAB provide expertise and value for our customers, and a reliable source for critical hospital systems.

Elite TAB completed the 3 Story Shell Core Systems, as well as the Level 1 Finish-out of this new Cook Childrens Regional medical center. The project included Chilled Water/Hot Water AHUS, FCUs, over 70 Terminal Units, and Extensive Exhaust Systems. Areas included Medical Office Building, Imaging Areas, and Ambulatory Surgery Center. Reporting was provided for State Standard on Air Changes per Hour ( ACH ) and Room Pressurization for all critical room pressure areas; Operating Rooms, Procedure Rooms, Clean and Soiled rooms.

Elite TAB was selected on this project for the renovation of the 1st,2nd, and 3rd floor due to its expertise with pre-demo auditing, as well as rebalance and maintaining critical pressures in an occupied hospital. Elite TAB completed an entire audit of the existing AHUs serving all three floors to establish existing hospital conditions. This included the AHUs , Fans, Coils, and all Air Devices in these spaces.
Once renovation work was completed, Elite TAB was hired to complete the rebalance of these same areas after HVAC Upgrades were completed. Elite TAB worked hand in hand with the mechanical contractor, controls contractor and facilities to complete this work timely and expertly in order for the hospital to resume use of these areas.
